Ok, here goes - Back in 1999, I personally was diagnosed with a herniated L3 disc, a bulging L4, and disc degeneration.
Back then I was dealing with a daily back pain level, that usually averaged anywhere from a 3 to a 7 on a scale of 1 to 10, and an occasional bout with sciatica.
Now, this may sound like a sales pitch, but it's not intended that way. This is my own personal experience that I'm sharing, so that it may help others who are dealing with similar issues.
In December of 2014, my life took a turn for the better, when I first learned about the availability of full body robotic massage chairs.
Back then, I was actually looking to buy a similar piece of equipment that my chiropractor had in his office, that did a pretty good job of relieving the pain in my lower back, even though it was only a temporary fix.
Myself, being a business owner who easily puts in 80+ hours each week, going to the chiropractor on a regular basis just wasn't happening, so I felt that if I had his machine(s) at home, I'd use them on a regular basis and get my back pain under control.
Longer story short - almost 7 years later massage chairs have become a big part of my/our lives, not only as a business, but as part of a proactive health routine that I've been practicing for almost 7 years now.
I've established a routine that I try to do at least every other day, which includes a combination of core exercises for strength, and massage, to remain loose, limber, and unimpeded for the most part.
Combining core exercise with massage, has reduced my lower back pain and sciatica dramatically, almost 100%,
The only reason that my pain level starts to rise, is if I haven't made the time to do the above routine, and in reality, it really doesn't take much time out of the day.
Even if you spend at least 5 minutes a day exercising, you'll see and feel the improvement, both physically and mentally after just a few days.
This is all my own personal experience, and you may or may not have the same results.
